Spencer Theatre’s production of Eric Coble’s “Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe,” directed by John Sivak, advanced as a finalist in the Illinois Times Best of Springfield® Readers Poll for Best Play or Musical.
Additionally, Mike Krcil, who flawlessly portrayed Edgar Allan Poe and his spiral into madness, is a finalist for Best Actor.

We are pleased to announce that our next production is MISERY, based on the novel by Stephen King, written by William Goldman, and directed locally by John Sivak.
MISERY will be presented October 9-11 and 16-18, at the Hoogland Center for the Arts.
Auditions will be held on August 1, 10am-2pm
Sign-ups will begin in June

THE TROJAN WOMEN, presented by Spencer Theatre Company and SIU Medicine. Brilliantly led by actor Carly Shank as Hecuba, this plaj shows individuals who lived a life that moved from great power and prosperity to almost unimaginable suffering.
